Elections are held every 2 years, these elected officials hold office for 4 years and receive no remuneration.  They truly represent the public by contributing their time to the District.

Board meetings are monthly on the second Thursday at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom and in the Meeting Room of North Lyon County Fire Protection District at 195 East Main Street, Fernley NV 89408.

Meetings are subject to rescheduling and special meetings may be called. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours prior to meetings per Nevada Open Meeting Law.
